Sliding Electric Gate, Headland Road

A functional and practicable gate and entrance system to befit a high end project we had been involved with.

We were involved with the architects, gate entrance system engineers, a specialist wood working company and the builder. We were pivotal in setting the design and co-ordinating subcontractors and specialist equipment into the manufacture program.

Source the required materials to satisfy the architects intent and incorporate the chosen and adequate closing systems. Produce setting out instructions and tolerance for ground works and associated finishes.

Gate manufacture consisted of a large perimeter box section of differing sizes which created a hierarchy for the placement of welds. The iroko timber inlays were secretly fixed to steel flat bar strips making up the structure. The gate was galvanised to elongate it lifespan and help with weather proofing an then finished in a powder coated Ral: 9003 30% gloss.

We formed a separate letterbox compartment and control panels all integral to the gate closing and parked vicinity.
